Mariana is a 21-year-old writer and music enthusiast from Long Island, NY currently enrolled as a student at Arizona State University. For as long as she can remember, music and writing have been at the core of her identity, shaping how she experiences and interacts with the world. She has spent most of her life as an observer, drawn to the way emotions flow through music and expressive writing, finding meaning in the unspoken and connection in shared experiences. Growing up in a home that encouraged passion in all it's forms, Mariana was introduced to Spanish music by her mother, who had an obsession with Spanish rock above all other music genres. It was through this that she first recognized music’s power to transcend language and culture, creating bonds between people regardless of their differences. Over time, this love evolved into a deep curiosity about how music influences identity and serves as a universal thread that weaves people’s stories together.
